While visiting New Orleans a couple of weeks ago, my guy and I happened to stumble upon a little gem of an antique and vintage store nestled on Magazine Street. It was filled to the brim with antique treasures and even had an old school lunch counter that I thought was completely adorable. We followed up our stop in this cute shop with a late po’ boy lunch.
If you’ve never been to New Orleans or Louisiana, you may be questioning my sanity right now for eating anything thats named after a poor young man. But trust me there’s nothing like an authentic po’ boy! And if you’re curious a po’ boy is an extremely yummy sandwich the locals and visitors like to get that’s stuffed with the most amazing seafood or deli meat you could ever eat. I had shrimp on mine and it was absolutely delicious!
Don’t forget to get one if you ever visit NOLA, and also take some time out to stroll Magazine Street! It’s full of boutiques, vintage shops, and restaurants. You won’t be disappointed!
