I hope you all are having a much better week than I am so far! If you hadn’t heard already, Dallas currently has the most cases of West Nile virus in the country. While I didn’t (thankfully) come down with the virus, I did have some sort of totally weird and awful allergic reaction to the aerial spraying that was done to combat the mosquito population. About a half hour after getting inside last night, my eyes, face and ears started itching, along with my arms and legs – the likes of which kept up for almost the entire night. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper last night or today. I have been taking Benadryl, and while it’s making me incredibly groggy and sleepy, it has helped with the allergy symptoms. Geez what a week, and it’s barely Tuesday! Hopefully I make a speedy recovery soon so I can get ready for my trip to New Orleans next week!
