TGIF friends! I don’t know about ya’ll but it’s been a long week for me! I’m looking forward to some R&R this weekend and I’ll be having some pictures shot this Sunday showcasing my styling skills! I’ve been thinking about the outfits and concepts for awhile now and I’m super excited for the shoot! I can’t wait to show you all the final product! Also this weekend I’ll be reading The Hunger Games! I know I’m a little late, but better late than never! I’m anxious to finish the book so I can finally see the film. Has anyone seen it? What did you think?

I love this outfit for four reasons, all of which happen to coincide with the letter C.

1. It incorporates colorblocking – which, if you haven’t noticed I’m pretty obsessed with color as of late.

2. It’s comfortable.

3. It’s chic.

4. It’s casual, comfortable, and chic all rolled together, which is exactly what I was going for this day.

Party Pants

So, the story behind these party pants you may ask? I had been searching high and low for a pair of floral pants that wouldn’t break the bank. Amidst my online search I stumbled upon this pair on H&M’s website. Sadly, purchasing online isn’t available for the retailer yet. Ever the patient floral pant bargain hunter, I managed to wait all of less than 24 hours before I eagerly headed to the nearest H&M on my lunch hour the next day. There was only one size left in these babies, and that one size happened to fit me. You’re looking at one satisfied customer.
