Happy New Year everyone! One of my New Year’s resolutions is to incorporate more investment pieces into my wardrobe. I love a great bargain as much as anyone, but sometimes I feel the money I spend on regular everyday sale items could be better put to use on purchasing investment pieces. As most fashion enthusiasts – and also my mom – would proclaim, its about quality not quantity!
1. Dress: Sonia Rykiel
2. Bracelet: David Yurman
3. Handbag: Chloe
4. Bracelet: David Yurman
5. Pumps: Fendi
I love the versatility of each of these pieces. The dress is fun and bright, but can be worn as a neutral and accented with pops of color like the blue of the Chloe bag. Nude peep toe bow pumps? Totally classic and chic and literally can be worn with almost everything. I have 2 gold and silver bracelets gifted to me by my mom that I wear together almost every single day. No doubt these beautiful David Yurman options would get the same type of wear! Each of these items invoke all of the amazingness investment pieces entail – versatility, longevity, and timelessness. I’m totally lusting over each of these!
Have you bought an investment piece lately? What was it?
